Endearing Space-Riding Marble: Children's Book Illustrations

Illustrating book cover, back and interior pages for a children's picture book that is also suitable for adults to read.
- Book Size: 6 x 9”
- Illustration requirements: About 25 pages of illustration for interior pages + Front & Back Cover
- Illustration style should look like “The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse” by Charlie Mackesy, simple ink drawings with watercolor textures. Emphasis on colors
- Words in handwritten ink style for the first pages but on the last pages of Reflection and after, have it in a normal professional font. You can add text directly.
- The main character is a white marble with a blue newsboy cap. The marble’s colour will change colour over time depending on the mood and situation.
- The story is about a marble bus driver that drives to space and makes a mistake that hurts his customers. He learns to forgive himself and improve from it, knowing he may not be able to say sorry or get closure for his mistakes. The ending of the book is a reflection about what the book is about and dedicated to.
- Each interior page should have the attached picture layout (for reference only), with words and pictures on the same page
The illustrations shall not have been previously used anywhere, nor can they be used in the future. I am requesting copyright/ commercial rights. A transfer of copyright agreement will be signed. In addition to the original, layered source files, I am requesting JPG files for all illustrations for the final submission. Payments will be released based on set milestones.
