Dark but intense Minimalist Book Cover

I’m launching the first volume of a new, no-nonsense self-help series and need a striking cover that instantly signals the book’s raw, gritty tone. The look I have in mind is unapologetically minimalist—clean lines, lots of breathing room—but built on a deep, moody palette. Think charcoal, obsidian, gun-metal: colors that make the reader feel they’re about to step into something intense yet empowering.

This needs to stand out. Its not a gratitude journal, its the book that slaps the reader back to reality.

Three elements must dominate the layout:
• the bold title (short and punchy)
• my name as the author
• a single piece of imagery or graphic that anchors the theme without crowding the space

I’m open to how you interpret that imagery—abstract icon, stark silhouette, or subtle texture—so long as it keeps the minimalist spirit intact and complements the dark tones.

Deliverables I’ll need:

• Web-ready thumbnail for Amazon KDP and social media (JPEG/PNG)
• An editable template for the remaining books in the series so the design language stays consistent

The accepted design should meet standard KDP specs (6" x 9", 300 dpi, correct bleed) and look razor-sharp in both digital and print formats.
