A fresh edition of “Jungle Tales of Tarzan” needs a timeless, classic book cover that spotlights the lush jungle itself. The brief is specifically a book cover design—no interior layout or full illustration set—so all creative energy can go into a striking front, spine, and back that feel as though they could have graced a 1920s adventure novel.
Visual direction
The artwork should immerse the viewer in dense, vibrant jungle scenery: towering trees, tangled vines, shafts of dappled light, perhaps a hint of distant canopy mist. Tarzan does not have to appear; the atmosphere of the wild should carry the narrative promise on its own. A refined serif title treatment, subtle ornamental touches, and a restrained color palette will keep the look firmly in the classic realm rather than modern or stylized illustrative trends.
