Classic Book Cover & Formatting

I’m nearing the finish line on a 24,000-word manuscript and am ready to give it the visual treatment it deserves. First, I need a timeless front-and-back cover that feels classic and elegant. Picture a warm, nostalgic scene: earthy tones spread across a well-worn wooden table, evoking those 1970s-80s Rand McNally vibes you’d find in an old travel atlas. The design should feel tactile—almost as if you could run your fingertips across the grain—yet remain clean and readable on a bookstore shelf.
Once the cover is in place, I’ll move straight into interior layout. The full manuscript must be formatted into a print-ready file, sized and paginated to standard trade-book specs (I’ll confirm trim size, margins, and bleed). Proper paragraph styles, running headers, page numbers, and a polished table of contents are all part of the job so the text flows smoothly from first page to last.
