Illustrated Short Story Book for Adults

I am looking for a talented illustrator to create an illustrated short storybook for adults. The desired theme for the book is historical/contemporary fiction.

The project scope is 48-50 full-scene, colorful illustrations. There are about 4-5 supporting characters along with the main character. Illustrations will be a combo of full background and spot images. Roughly 80% full and 20% spot. Since most of the characters are already created in concept form, illustrator must be able to replicate key characters. Secondary and background characters may have greater creative flexibility.

The illustrations shall not have been previously used anywhere, nor can they be used in the
future. This is a work-for-hire with client retaining 100% copyright/commercial rights to delivered illustrations, which include original source files and JPG files for all illustrations for the final submission

Project to pay at fixed milestones. 100% delivery within 3 months maximum. Original drawings only. AI not accepted.

Setting and Time Period:
- The client has a specific setting and time period in mind for the stories. (Range of 1950s and current day)

Illustration Style:
- The client desires an illustration style that is a blend of caricature and comic.

Skills and Experience:
- Strong illustration skills, particularly in caricature and comic styles.
- Experience in creating illustrations for books or similar projects.
- Knowledge or interest in historical and contemporary fiction themes and settings.
