Wearable Bluetooth LE with AI Voice Integration PCB Design

I’m developing a new wearable gadget that relies on Bluetooth LE connectivity and on-device AI voice commands. I need a seasoned PCB engineer who can take the concept from schematic through final layout entirely in KiCad, delivering a production-ready design that meets consumer-electronics standards.

You’ll be responsible for:
• Creating the complete schematic and multilayer board layout, integrating a proven Bluetooth LE module and the microphone / audio front end required for reliable wake-word detection.
• Planning for an AI coprocessor or dedicated voice-DSP; if you have hands-on experience dropping such chips into low-power wearables, tell me—your insight will be valued.
• Selecting components with long-term availability, preparing the BOM, and generating Gerber, drill, and pick-and-place files.
• Designing power distribution and battery-charging circuitry suitable for a compact wearable form factor and advising on enclosure-driven placement constraints.
• Following best practices for EMI/EMC, FCC/CE pre-compliance, controlled-impedance RF routing, and low-power optimisation.

Acceptance criteria
1. KiCad project files open without errors and pass DRC/ERC.
2. Gerbers fabricate successfully with JLCPCB or an equivalent house on the first run.
3. Bluetooth LE link budget and antenna matching verified by simulation or lab data.
4. Voice path (mic to AI/DSP) meets the SNR we agree on.
