Smart Wearable Respiratory Monitor

Job ID: 39715811

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I want to build a small, comfortable wearable that tracks every phase of my breathing in real time. It must
• measure the volume of each inhalation and exhalation,
• time how long a breath is held,
• log overall breathing rate, and
• capture heart-rate variation alongside those metrics.

A bright, integrated display should show the live readings on the wrist or chest unit itself, while Bluetooth LE streams the same data to phones, tablets, or a desktop dashboard for deeper analysis. On-board storage is essential so nothing is lost when the companion app is closed or the phone is out of range, and the stored sessions should sync automatically once a connection is re-established.

I need a freelancer who can take the project from sensor selection through to a tested prototype, including firmware that collects and calibrates the data, the enclosure design that keeps the form factor lightweight, and a simple reference app or desktop viewer that proves the live-data feed works.

Acceptance criteria
• Accurate readings within standard spirometry tolerances for volume, ±5 % for heart rate.
• Continuous operation for at least eight hours on a single charge.
• Reliable Bluetooth connection with no data loss at 5 Hz sampling.
• CSV or JSON export of stored sessions.

If you have experience combining respiratory sensors with BLE micro-controllers and can demonstrate a working proof-of-concept rapidly, let’s talk about bringing this wearable to life.
