Smart Ring Health App
Budget: $500 – $1,000 USD
I’m building a smart ring focused on personal health insights and now need a companion mobile app that talks to the ring, collects its data, and turns that information into clear, actionable feedback for users.
The ring continuously tracks health metrics—heart-rate, sleep patterns, and blood-oxygen levels, etc—so the app must:
• Connect to the ring over Bluetooth LE, pull raw sensor data in near-real-time, and cache it securely when the phone is offline.
• Present clean dashboards with live readings, daily summaries, and longer-term trend graphs for each metric.
• Trigger configurable alerts (e.g., low SpO₂, abnormal heart-rate) and store sleep-session details with staging if the firmware provides it.
• Sync to an encrypted cloud back-end (Firebase, AWS, or your preferred stack) so users can access their history across devices.
• Run smoothly on both iOS and Android: native, Flutter, or React Native—whichever you’re strongest in—ready builds plus source code.
I have the ring’s BLE spec and sample packets ready to share once we start. My priority is a polished MVP that nails reliability and a friendly UX; advanced features (social sharing, Apple Health / Google Fit integration, etc.) can follow in a second phase.
If you’ve shipped health-related apps or wearables before and can hit these marks, let’s talk timelines and milestones.
I want to know first the estimated time it takes, and the estimated cost (range)
Note:
Please send me the total cost for developing the app in two options:
App development only (no store upload)
App development + publishing on Google Play and Apple App Store
Include all fees in both options.
