Bluetooth Vibrating Fitness Ankle Band

Job ID: 40467409

Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 AUD

I need a working ankle-band prototype that pairs over Bluetooth, and vibrates on command. The core metric I care about is interchange rotation—essentially how the ankle twists during movement—rather than the usual step or calorie counters. The device should stream that rotation data reliably to a companion smartphone and store it locally when the phone is out of range. I have a design ready for review

I want the vibration motor triggered only when I send a remote manual signal, ideally from a simple mobile app or small handheld controller you will also develop. Automatic or motion-based triggers are not required.

I’m looking for an end-to-end solution: compact hardware layout, firmware that captures rotation data at a useful sampling rate, low-latency Bluetooth communication, a basic cross-platform app for iOS and Android to display live graphs/logs and a big on-screen “Vibrate” button, plus clear assembly files so I can have additional units manufactured. If you have existing experience with BLE, haptic drivers, or MEMS gyroscopes/IMUs, that will help us move fast.

Deliverables:
• Schematic, PCB files, and BOM
• Embedded code flashed and tested
• Mobile app source and installable builds
• One fully assembled, demonstrated prototype
• Short setup and usage guide

I will review against stable Bluetooth connectivity, accurate rotation readouts, and responsive manual vibration within one second of the app command.
