Bluetooth Receipt Font & API Update
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need two quick improvements to my existing mobile app that prints via a Bluetooth thermal printer.
1. Receipt font revamp
Right now the printer uses its default typeface, which looks dated. I only want the fonts changed—no logo, no new layout tweaks—just a cleaner, more readable face applied consistently across the receipt. If you need sample ESC/POS commands or the current print template, I can share them as soon as we start.
2. New API endpoint on the app side
Alongside the print tweak, the app must call a brand-new REST endpoint that I will expose. The endpoint will return JSON; the app should hit it, parse the response, and act on the result (details once we chat). All networking is done with Retrofit right now, so please stick to that library for consistency.
Deliverables
• Updated print template (or ESC/POS command file) demonstrating the new font when paired with any standard 58 mm Bluetooth printer.
• App module or pull request showing the added API call, model parsing, and a simple success/failure handler.
• Short walkthrough or readme so I can test everything on my side.
