Bluetooth Mobile App Build -- 2
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m ready to move from concept to code on a new Bluetooth-enabled mobile application and need an experienced developer who can take the reins from architecture through store-ready builds. The core idea is simple: the app must discover nearby devices, establish a reliable connection, and exchange data quickly and securely. I’ll share the exact use-case and device specs once we start; for now, assume the usual Bluetooth Low Energy workflows—scan, pair, read/write characteristics, and handle reconnections gracefully.
Because my audience uses both iOS and Android phones, I’m leaning toward a single codebase (Flutter or React Native) but I’m open to native if you feel that’s wiser for latency or background-mode restrictions. Whichever route you recommend, please factor in: background scanning limits on iOS, permission handling on recent Android versions, and the need for smooth UI feedback during pairing and data transfer.
Security matters. I expect encrypted communication between the app and peripheral, secure pairing, and a lightweight authentication gate before any sensitive commands are executed. If you have a preferred library or encryption scheme, note it in your proposal along with past projects that faced similar requirements.
To keep us on track, here’s what I’m looking for:
• A brief technical plan outlining framework choice, key libraries, and estimated milestone timeline
• Source code in a private repo with clear commit history and README instructions
• Ad-hoc builds (TestFlight / APK) for iterative testing on real devices
• A final, store-ready build plus basic deployment guidance
• Concise developer documentation covering setup, BLE workflow, and any third-party services used
I’ll supply sample peripherals, GATT specs, branding assets, and UI wireframes at kick-off. Let me know your preferred stack, estimated turnaround, and any clarifying questions you need answered to produce an accurate quote and timetable.
