Stress Relief Wearable and App
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I’m building a neck-to-shoulder wrap that releases heat, gentle vibration pulses, relaxing scents, and calming sounds, all driven by a companion mobile app. The app’s top priority is mood sensing and breathing guidance: it should notice when stress rises, then coach the user through slow, soothing breaths. Three specific breathing modes must be ready at launch—guided deep breathing, box breathing, and 4-7-8—each synchronised with the wrap’s vibration pattern, heat cycles, and audio track.
Scope of work
• Hardware concept: layout for flexible heating elements, silent haptic motors, an interchangeable aromatherapy cartridge, and low-profile speakers.
• Sensor integration: heart-rate and muscle-tension inputs routed to the app for real-time mood detection.
• Firmware: manage heat levels, vibration rhythms, scent release, and BLE communication with the phone.
• Mobile app (iOS and Android): dashboards for mood trends, a breathing-coach interface, sound library (rain, ocean, binaural beats, calming frequencies), and settings for temperature, vibration intensity, and scent choice.
• Cloud-optional: store anonymised stress data so users can view progress across devices.
Acceptance criteria
1. A working wrap prototype that reaches 45 °C safely, runs haptic patterns under 45 dB, and pairs via Bluetooth within 5 seconds.
2. App detects elevated heart-rate variability or tense-sensor readings and automatically launches a breathing session.
3. All three breathing modes play flawlessly with audio, heat, and vibration staying in sync for at least a 10-minute cycle.
4. Over-the-air firmware update demonstrated once.
