Project Overview:
We are developing an IoT-enabled Solar Charge Controller that connects to AWS IoT Cloud and allows users to monitor and control it via a mobile app (Android & iOS). The device should support WiFi provisioning, AWS Just-in-Time (JIT) provisioning, and dual-mode control—both remotely via AWS IoT and locally via Bluetooth. The mobile app should allow users to manually switch between cloud and Bluetooth control and include Google/Apple login.
Job Description:
We are seeking a fresher with a strong passion for IoT, embedded systems, and mobile app development. The selected candidate will work on:
-ESP32 firmware development with AWS IoT and Bluetooth connectivity.
-Developing a mobile app for remote and local device control.
-Ensuring seamless integration between ESP32 firmware, cloud services, and the mobile app.
Key Responsibilities:
-Develop and program ESP32 firmware in C/C++ using the Arduino framework or ESP-IDF.
-Implement WiFi provisioning and AWS IoT connectivity (MQTT, Just-in-Time (JIT) provisioning).
-Enable remote (AWS IoT) and local (Bluetooth) control of devices.
-Develop a mobile app (Android & iOS) with AWS IoT and Bluetooth connectivity.
-Implement Google/Apple login in the mobile application using Firebase Authentication.
-Design a manual switch in the app for toggling between cloud and Bluetooth control.
-Ensure secure and reliable communication between the ESP32 device, cloud, and mobile app.
-Test, debug, and optimize the entire system for performance and reliability.
-Document the development process, including firmware, cloud setup, and app configurations.
Required Skills:
-Strong programming skills in C/C++ (for ESP32 firmware development).
-Knowledge of embedded systems and microcontroller programming.
-Understanding of IoT protocols (MQTT, WebSockets, HTTP/HTTPS, BLE, etc.).
-Familiarity with AWS IoT Core (device provisioning, MQTT messaging, and security).
-Experience in Android development (Java/Kotlin) and basic knowledge of iOS (Swift/Flutter is a plus).
-Familiarity with Firebase Authentication for Google/Apple login.
-Ability to debug hardware and software issues effectively.
-Knowledge of Git version control.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
-Hands-on experience with ESP32 development and cloud integration.
-Familiarity with Android/iOS app development frameworks.
-Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
