Tile Floor Takeoff & Pricing
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I’m looking for a Quantity Surveyor who can jump straight into a set of PDF floor plans and produce an accurate tile flooring take-off together with a clear, itemised price. The drawings are ready for you; I simply need the square-metre quantities broken down by room or area, a sensible allowance for wastage, and a cost schedule that covers materials, labour and any sundries.
Because the project will feed directly into our client quote, I need rock-solid numbers rather than rough approximations. Please base all rates on current market pricing in my region—if you need any local cost data, let me know and I’ll supply it.
When you send your bid, attach a detailed project proposal showing:
• the software/method you’ll use for the take-off (Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Excel, etc.)
• the format I’ll receive the measurements and costing in (Excel, PDF, both, etc.)
• your anticipated turnaround time
Acceptance criteria for the final package:
• Complete PDF mark-ups highlighting all tiled areas
• Excel (or CSV) sheet listing quantities, waste allowance and unit rates
• Summary page with total installed cost and any assumptions
