Residential Renovation BOQ
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I am preparing the renovation plans for a residential property and need a detailed take-off and Bill of Quantities covering only the kitchen and bathroom areas. You will receive the current drawings in PDF/CAD and any spec notes I have so far; from those you’ll extract all relevant quantities—finishes, fixtures, fittings, MEP items, and associated labor allowances—then present them in a clear spreadsheet that totals by trade and by space.
Accuracy at this early planning stage is critical because the BOQ will be used both for budgeting and for comparing contractor bids later on. Please base measurements directly on the drawings (PlanSwift, Bluebeam or similar tools are fine) and label every item so it can be traced back to plan references.
Deliverables:
• Editable spreadsheet (Excel or Google Sheets) with item code, description, unit, quantity, unit rate placeholder, and total.
• Mark up pages with editable layers reflecting the measurements taken
• A short assumptions sheet outlining measurement methods, inclusions, and exclusions.
I will share the files immediately after award and am looking for a quick turnaround with room for one revision in case my architect issues an updated set.
