Residential Build Quantity Surveying Needed

I have a full set of drawings for a new single-family home and now need a professional quantity surveyor to turn those plans into clear numbers. The goal is simple: tell me exactly what it will cost to build and how much of every material I’ll need before breaking ground.

Here’s what I expect you to deliver in one consolidated, well-structured file at the end of the engagement:
• Detailed cost estimate covering every trade and activity
• Comprehensive material take-offs keyed to the drawings, ready for ordering

You’re free to work in whichever software you’re most comfortable with—I have no fixed preference for AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or any other package, as long as the final report is easy for my builder and I to follow.

I don’t need weekly or monthly updates; a single, accurate final report is all that’s required. If you spot any major discrepancies or value-engineering opportunities while compiling the numbers, flag them clearly in the document so we can act on them before construction starts.
