PDF & WORD DOCUMENT EXPERT
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a construction company and we currently type proposals into Microsoft word and then save them as PDFs to send to a customer. Every project is different but I am trying to bring down the manual typing into proposals and make them more consistent.
Ideally, I am looking for a PDF that is editable with drop-down boxes but keeps my proposal in the same format as the word document I currently use.
Almost every single line needs to have an edit ability, and certain groups are even deleted from proposals if they do not have that scope.
The bold sections' names can change as well as all the lines below, the majority remain consistent with minor tweaks as I need to include brief descriptions relative to each project. While I don't expect you to list every possible option if I have the ability to create easy drop-down selections as well as the ability to edit/add items to the drop-down selections that would be awesome. Unsure if PDF has the ability to add totals in a similar function as excel, but I do manually add up the numbers to get the total job cost if that can be worked in somehow?
Open to new design if you think you can jazz it up a bit but need to keep the same layout of
SPECIFIC SCOPE -
- item within the scope
- item within the scope
- item within the scope
Exclusions do change per project, so keep the same idea of editable options in there.
Terms and conditions very rarely change, and cost escalation doesn't change.
Examples below of the word document I type into, I then save as a PDF and send.
I currently have to look back through old proposals I have sent to find the right size pre-fabricated text box to keep the allotted spacing consistent with how much I have to type, that's the main difference between proposals (1) and (2).
Ideally, I want one master editable document that I can expand and contract as required. Bluebeam REVU is the PDF software we use.
Thanks,
