Civil & MEP Drawing QA
Budget: $50 – $0 USD
I have multiple sets of civil and MEP plans that need a fresh, disciplined eye before they move forward. The priority is code compliance, everything must track with the latest IBC, IPC, NEC, NFPA and any other applicable local amendments. While administrative issues like spelling errors or title-block slips still need flagging, they take second place to hard-code accuracy.
You’ll receive PDF exports (and, if you prefer, the original AutoCAD/Revit files) along with any previously issued review comments. I need clear, actionable feedback, not just cursory redlines.
Deliverables
• Mark-ups of every sheet, showing each code or administrative issue and the relevant citation
• A brief summary sheet that groups findings by discipline and severity so my design team can address them in order of priority
Turnaround is flexible but I would like preliminary comments within a week of award so the team can start major corrections while you complete the full pass.
When you respond, focus on your experience doing third-party QA/QC for both civil and MEP drawings—especially projects where you were responsible for code compliance checks. A concise note on the codes you know best, the tools you use for mark-ups (Bluebeam etc) and how you structure your reports is all I need to decide if we’re a fit.
