Bluebeam JavaScript Dynamic Progress Tracking Stamp
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need two interactive stamps built for Bluebeam Revu that helps my team track progress directly on PDF drawings. The stamp must automatically fill in the current date in the designated text boxes (one for each step of the process) and present clean user-input fields (check boxes) so the reviewer can note the completed steps.
JavaScript inside Bluebeam will power the behavior, so I’ll want readable, well-commented code embedded in the stamp file. I’ll use the dynamic check boxes as status indicators at this stage.
Because this task is highly specific to Bluebeam, I’m counting on someone who has already scripted stamps or custom tool chests in Revu. If that sounds like you, let me know which versions you have worked with and share a quick example of a similar automation you’ve created.
I've created flat, undynamic versions of the stamps we'd like to use. Please see attached.
Deliverables
• Two reusable .pdf stamp files with all JavaScript embedded
• A short set of installation/usage notes so any team member can add the stamp to their Tool Chest
• Source JavaScript in a separate text file for easy reference
I’ll import the stamps, test the automatic date/time insertion and each user field, and sign off once everything performs as expected in Bluebeam Revu 21.
