A simple Jekyll blog
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
Hi. I would like someone to create a Jekyll blog that meets the following requirements:
1. It's based on Jekyll.
2. After you send me the code, I can upload it to GitLab pages and it works (no error fixing or anything like that). You should test it if it works with GitLab pages.
3. It should use the following theme: https://github.com/niklasbuschmann/contrast (I might also change my mind to "minima", but I'll let you know before the project).
4. When I enter the website, I should be able to see "10 best posts" (which I can modify somehow), and under that I should be able to see the recent posts.
5. There should be a way to subscribe to posts on the blog. You can use Mailchimp for that or something else. Once you set up it, you should tell me the credentials to the Mailchimp account at the end and transfer the account to me.
6. You should tell me what I need to do to send an email to subscribers about a new post.
7. There should be a contact page that allows to send a message by email to me. I think it's best if you use Formspree (https://formspree.io/) for that.
