SEO-Safe Domain Migration & Redirection
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm in need of an expert who can assist with migrating my current website to a new domain, with the ultimate goal of retaining my SEO ranking intact. The exact domains haven't been disclosed yet, but the move is prompted by a need to rebrand or change the company name.
The ideal candidate for this job should:
- Have a deep understanding of how SEO works and the ins and outs of domain migrations. The candidate should have a track record of performing successful SEO-safe migrations.
- Be skilled in creating and implementing 301 redirects to ensure all existing links will point towards the new domain, eliminating the prospect of "404 Not Found" errors including post image links and post content links
- Be able to advise on the best approach to maintain our SEO rankings during the migration.
Your task, given this project, will be to help outline a clear and SEO-safe migration plan, implement the migration itself when ready, and monitor site performance on the new domain.
Post-migration, I will need a comprehensive report on how the migration affected my site's SEO, and what can be done to improve it if required.
