Write Guitar Edutainment Articles In an Editorial Style

Job ID: 33603172

Budget: $10 – $100 USD

PROJECT CHARTER
This project requires you to write a guitar article. The focus is edutainment, which means entertainment and education. The entertainment part is telling a story about the popular song, artist, or band you are assigned and the education part requires that you research online instructional videos and resources for the song and put them in order from beginner to intermediate, and advanced lessons. The primary focus is on the videos and lessons, but the writing should be editorial style and entertaining.

It helps if you:
- Are a good writer
- Know something about how to play guitar (you don't have to be a teacher, though that's a bonus)
- Can curate videos and decide how to assign them (beginner, intermediate, and advanced)
- Communicate with me: I am always available to provide guidance and make decisions with you.

General guidelines:
• English
• Format – word document or Rich Text Format
• Targeting around 1500-2000 words – this is a general target, avoid unnecessary filler.
• The article is edutainment (education + entertainment) for a specific popular song and how to play it on guitar.
• The tone should be conversational, playful where appropriate, and informative.
• Use your own writing style. The intention is for the articles on the site to be diverse in how they read. I want your unique perspective.

Examples:
You can find complete song articles at www.top10guitar.com.
I do not expect you to copy these articles. Use them as a starting point.

I have a guiding document and a template to follow for writing, and I am interested in your voice as a writer (this means some creative leeway, as long as the article meets the basic requirements).

Thank you,
Shane
