Web3 Game Blockchain Developer
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Our multiplayer Web3 game is approaching its next milestone and the blockchain layer now needs to be completed. The front-end already runs in the browser with real-time 3D rendering; what remains is the Ethereum integration—smart contracts, MetaMask connectivity, and airtight in-game transactions.
You will spearhead that effort, working side-by-side with our project manager and designers. I need Solidity contracts that govern the in-game economy, plus clean APIs that the client can call without impacting frame rates. A deep understanding of gas-efficient patterns, OpenZeppelin libraries, Hardhat (or similar) workflows, and security best practices is essential.
Because our team optimises every millisecond of render time, any past work with WebGL, Three.js, or Babylon.js will help you communicate effectively with the gameplay engineers.
Deliverables I expect at the end of the sprint:
• Fully tested, audited smart contracts deployed to an Ethereum testnet
• MetaMask integration that signs and sends all gameplay transactions
• CI/CD scripts and concise documentation so future builds ship smoothly
If you have shipped a Web3 title before—or can show equivalent blockchain projects—include those links in your proposal. I’m ready to start as soon as the right developer is on board.
