We are a New Zealand-based fintech start-up comprised of two integrated entities: Alpha Market Dao Limited and Omega Capital Limited. Our vision is to revolutionize digital commerce by building a platform that combines a decentralized marketplace, a decentralized exchange (DEX), and integrated fiat on-ramp/off-ramp capabilities—all fully compliant with New Zealand laws and regulations (AML/CFT, Privacy Act 2020, etc.).
Project Scope:
Decentralized Marketplace & Exchange (Alpha Market Dao Limited):
Marketplace:
Develop a secure, blockchain-powered marketplace for vendors and consumers to transact using both fiat and cryptocurrency. The marketplace will feature an advanced escrow system to safeguard funds and utilize our native governance token (AM) for community decision-making and staking rewards.
Decentralized Exchange (DEX):
Build an integrated DEX that allows users to trade cryptocurrencies directly on the platform. This includes:
Order matching engine and liquidity pools.
Support for multiple trading pairs.
Front-end charting and trading dashboards.
Fiat On-Ramp/Off-Ramp Integration:
Incorporate a seamless solution to convert fiat to cryptocurrency and vice versa, ensuring smooth, compliant transactions for retail users in New Zealand.
Onboarding & Compliance (Omega Capital Limited):
Comprehensive Onboarding System:
Build a multi-step registration process that includes secure document uploads, detailed questionnaires, and automated screening for KYC/AML compliance. A unique invite code system will be implemented, allowing only thoroughly vetted users to access the marketplace and exchange.
Crypto ATM & Digital Billboard Integration:
Develop modules for managing Crypto ATM transactions and digital billboard advertising, providing additional revenue channels and expanding user reach.
Regulatory & Technical Compliance:
Ensure that all components adhere to New Zealand regulatory standards including AML/CFT and Privacy Act 2020.
Secure API integrations with payment gateways and third-party document verification services.
Utilize modern, scalable technologies for both back-end (e.g., Node.js, Express, MongoDB/PostgreSQL) and front-end (React or similar framework) development.
Integrate blockchain interactions via Solana, supporting our native governance token (AM) and DEX functionalities.
Requirements:
Proven experience in building decentralized applications and blockchain-based platforms.
Strong background in fintech integrations, particularly with fiat on-ramp/off-ramp solutions.
Experience developing decentralized exchanges or trading platforms is highly desirable.
Familiarity with New Zealand’s regulatory requirements (AML/CFT, Privacy Act 2020, etc.) is essential.
Demonstrable track record with projects that include robust security measures and compliance frameworks.
A portfolio that showcases similar projects, ideally including integrations with payment gateways and blockchain networks (Solana experience is a plus).
