Custom ERC20 Token Development
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies
Project requirements
Common
The goal of the course is to provide students with basic blockchain and cryptocurrency knowledge, and experience with blockchain/crypto related development.
The project subjects
Students can choose their own project ideas, to be approved by the lecturer. Alternatively, the project may be selected from the following list:
1. Development of ERC20 token, based on a smart contract with custom features (methods).
a. Implementation – Solidity
b. Deployment – ETH testnet (Goerli, Seploia or MoreThanWallet) or the ETH Mainnet
c. Must be defined with the lecturer
2. Development of multicurrency (2 different coins is enough) HD wallet, allowing a set of standard wallet operations (create/restore account, check balances, send signed transactions).
a. Implementation – HTML, JS
b. Must use shared node APIs like https://docs.infura.io/api or https://nownodes.io/nodes
3. Development of browser-based application, providing several (existing) DeFi services (interacting with Metamask or Enkrypt)
a. Recommended – Compound, Uniswap or others (must be approved by the lecturer)
4. Development of system for elections, based on ETH smart contracts
a. Implementation – Solidity, HTML, JS
b. Deployment – ETH testnet (Goerli, Seploia or MoreThanWallet) or the ETH Mainnet
5. Research of correlation between “big accounts” transactions and BTC price
a. The project must use machine learning packages
b. Implementation - NodeJS
Other requirements
1. The project must be committed to a public Git repository and deployed on GitHub pages or Vercel.
2. The project must include a summary document with the student names, short requirements and description. It must include the links to Git and to project site (if deployed). This document must be uploaded to Moodle.
