Job Description: Cardano DeFi Developer (Smart Contract Expert)
We are seeking a highly skilled Cardano DeFi Developer with expertise in smart contracts to join our team and help us create a minimum viable product (MVP) for a decentralized finance (DeFi) product on the Cardano blockchain. As a Cardano DeFi Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing smart contracts to enable various financial services on the Cardano network.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the product team to define the requirements and functionalities of the DeFi product MVP.
Design and develop secure and efficient smart contracts on the Cardano blockchain, using Plutus and other relevant programming languages.
Implement automated tests and perform code reviews to ensure the quality and reliability of the smart contracts.
Collaborate with the front-end development team to integrate smart contracts into the user interface.
Work closely with the blockchain and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of the DeFi product.
Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in Cardano and DeFi development, and incorporate them into the project as appropriate.
Requirements:
Strong experience in developing smart contracts on the Cardano blockchain using Plutus or similar languages.
Deep understanding of Cardano's blockchain architecture, including the UTXO model and transaction execution.
Familiarity with decentralized finance concepts, protocols, and security considerations.
Proficiency in using development tools and frameworks specific to Cardano, such as Plutus Playground, Cardano-cli, and other relevant libraries.
Experience working with Jira or similar project management tools to track progress, manage tasks, and communicate with team members.
Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of projects, delivering high-quality results within agreed-upon timelines.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex issues related to smart contract development.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Definition of Done:
Smart contracts implemented and tested according to the defined requirements and specifications.
