Blockchain Medicine Inventory Frontend Integration

Job ID: 40161981

Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD

I have an on-chain medicine management concept ready to go and a smart contract already drafted; what I now need is a clean, responsive frontend that connects to that contract and focuses purely on inventory management.

Your job will be to build the user interface where pharmacists or supply-chain staff can:

• add a new medicine record, including batch information and quantity
• update stock levels or mark items as dispensed/returned
• look up a batch in real time and view its current on-chain status

All reads and writes must route through the existing smart contract, so wallet connection (MetaMask or similar), transaction prompts, and status feedback modals are essential parts of the flow. I’m comfortable with React, ethers.js and web3.js, but if you prefer Vue or another modern framework, let me know—what matters is a smooth UX and reliable blockchain interaction.

Data that sits off-chain (for example cached images or PDF inserts) can live in a lightweight database or IPFS; I’m open to your suggestion here as long as the medicine metadata hash remains verifiable on chain.

Please include:

• Source code with clear component structure
• A short README explaining setup, environment variables, and contract addresses
• A live demo link or instructions for running locally

If you can add barcode scanning, automatic stock alerts, or expiry date monitoring on top of the core build, mention it in your bid—those would be nice extras but are not mandatory for this phase.
Upon successful completion, there will be opportunities to continue working together on future versions and feature expansions of the system.
