Blockchain Developer for DeFi Real Estate Platform

Job Title: Blockchain Developer
About the Role

We’re building an MVP for a DeFi-based real estate platform and are looking for skilled Blockchain Developers to help design, build, and maintain the core on-chain components of the product. You’ll work closely with backend, frontend, and product teams to deliver secure, scalable decentralized functionality.

This role offers high ownership and the chance to work on real-world asset use cases in DeFi.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy smart contracts
- Implement on-chain logic for tokenization, transactions, and protocols
- Collaborate with backend and frontend teams on blockchain integrations
- Ensure smart contract security, performance, and gas optimization
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and audits
- Monitor deployed contracts and support upgrades when needed
- Stay up to date with blockchain trends, tools, and best practices

Requirements
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 1+ years of hands-on blockchain development experience
- Proficiency in Solidity or other smart contract languages (Rust, Move is a plus)
- Experience with Ethereum or EVM-compatible chains
- Strong understanding of smart contract security concepts
- Familiarity with Web3 libraries (ethers.js, web3.js, or similar)
- Experience working with APIs and backend systems

Nice to Have
- Experience with DeFi protocols or real-world asset (RWA) platforms
- Familiarity with Layer 2s or cross-chain solutions
- Experience with audits, formal verification, or security tooling
- Understanding of token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155)
- Startup or MVP experience
