AUSTRAC Crypto AML Monitoring
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I need a robust, AUSTRAC-ready transaction-monitoring framework for my crypto platform. Every single transfer—deposits, withdrawals, internal moves—must be screened in real time across the full range of coins and tokens we list (Bitcoin, Ethereum, and several others).
The exchange wallets and basic ledger are already running; what I’m missing is the rules engine, alert workflow, and audit trail that map cleanly to AUSTRAC’s AML/CTF obligations. I want automated risk scoring, comprehensive logs, and the ability to lodge Suspicious Matter, Threshold, and International Funds Transfer reports straight from the data.
Hands-on experience with blockchain-analytics tools such as Chainalysis, CipherTrace, Elliptic, Crystal or similar APIs will let you move fast here. You’ll be normalising on-chain data from multiple blockchains, piping it into your monitoring logic, and surfacing actionable alerts that compliance officers can triage in one place. A solid grasp of AUSTRAC XML/CSV schemas is non-negotiable.
Deliverables
• Architecture diagram showing the flow from wallet nodes through analytics, alerting, and reporting.
• Configured rules and risk models covering all supported coins, ready for tuning.
• Live dashboard with alert-management and escalation paths.
• Auto-generated AUSTRAC report files, plus a successful test submission.
• Deployment guide and recorded hand-over session for my DevOps team.
Acceptance criteria
• 100 % of on-chain transactions captured and stored for seven years.
• Alerts raised within 60 seconds of block confirmation.
• AUSTRAC reports validated without errors in the test portal.
Once we agree, I’ll provide node endpoints, cloud SQL credentials, and sample historical data so you can hit the ground running.
