Support-Free Blender Character Models
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a set of concept images showing stylised characters and creatures. I need each illustration translated into a clean 3D model in Blender that can go straight to an FDM printer without supports. Because the poses vary in the artwork, you’ll sometimes have to tweak limbs or merge forms so every overhang stays within printer-friendly angles.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
• Create a separate .blend file for each character or creature, keeping the geometry simple and low-poly where possible.
• Deliver watertight, manifold meshes exported as STL and OBJ.
• Check every model in a slicer (PrusaSlicer / Cura / ideaMaker—your choice) to confirm no supports are required.
• Preserve the core silhouette and proportions from the concept images while simplifying small details that won’t print cleanly at miniature scale.
• Supply a brief note listing any design compromises you made to achieve support-free printing.
I’m aiming for straightforward, printable figures rather than highly detailed collectibles, so focus on solid topology, sensible wall thickness and clean edges. If this first batch goes smoothly, I’ll have more creatures and alternate poses ready to follow.
