Stylized 3D Sport Avatar
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a skilled 3D character artist to establish the visual direction for a single “hero” avatar that will be used in short animated taunts and recaps for a sports platform. The final look should feel athletic and premium, stay readable when the character is shown small on-screen, and land somewhere between realism and full cartoon. Think stylized, not chibi, and certainly not photoreal.
This first collaboration is strictly a paid style test, not full production. If we click, there will be plenty more to do, but for now I only need the following:
• One fully-realised avatar model, wearing generic athletic sportswear (no team logos, fan memorabilia, or equipment)
• A clean turnaround set of views (front, back, and ¾)
• Four distinct facial expressions that show the range I’ll need for taunts and victory/defeat moments
• Two dynamic poses to showcase body language
Technical requests
• Work in Blender; it’s what our pipeline is built around.
• Supply the model in FBX format with the scene organised for easy rigging later on.
• Keep topology animation-friendly (good edge flow, no ngons, sensible polycount).
• Include all source files so my rigging team can pull them straight into the engine.
• Usage is fully commercial, so everything must be original or cleared for such use.
I’d love to see examples of stylized, game-ready humanoids you’ve already delivered—especially anything you’ve prepared for rigging or real-time engines. If the brief sounds like your sweet spot, let’s talk!
