Simple Character Rigging & Animation in Blender
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Hello,
I need a 3D artist to handle a two-part character project in Blender. This is a university assignment, so the technical execution of the rig and the movement is more important than the visual complexity of the model.
Project Scope:
1. Modeling & Rigging (Task 1):
The Model: You can use a very simple, "noob-style" humanoid character (blocky, square, or very low-poly). The design doesn't matter, as long as it has arms and legs.
Rigging: You must attach a skeletal system (Armature/Biped).
Weight Painting: The rigging must be done carefully. My professor will grade based on "rigging errors" like unnatural stretching or mesh deformations. It needs to look clean when the character moves.
2. Animation (Task 2):
The Sequence: Create a simple animation sequence (e.g., a short dance, a sports move, or a combat sequence).
MOCAP: You are encouraged to use motion capture data (like Mixamo or other free databases) and retarget it to the character, or you can animate it manually.
The Scene: Place the character in a very simple 3D environment related to the animation (e.g., if it's a dance, a simple floor/stage; if it's a sport, a simple field).
Technical Requirements:
Software: Strictly Blender (I need the final .blend file).
Deliverables: The source .blend file and a simple video render of the animation (.mp4 or .avi).
NOTE ON PRICING: Do NOT place a low placeholder bid and then ask for more money after being selected. This project is very simple and involves a basic character. Your bid must be final. If you try to negotiate a higher price after being awarded, I will immediately cancel the project.
Thank you!
