Realistic Water Flow Animation

Job ID: 40421508

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I need a short, realistic 3D animation that shows water moving through a distribution-pipe network from a clean, top-down perspective. The main emphasis is the behaviour of the water itself, so fluid simulation and refraction should feel true to life rather than stylised.

Inside the transparent pipes an ultrasound pulse travels with the flow; as it passes, defects in the pipe wall and mineral scaling become visible. Flow speed must be colour-coded— red , orange , green then blue for the highest velocity—with smooth transitions so the audience can read the change instantly.

The finished clip will slot into a technical presentation, so please render at least 1920 × 1080, 30 fps, and supply the full project file (Blender, Maya, Houdini, 3ds Max, etc.) so I can adjust cameras or labels later.

Show the pipe network as if you can see thru the city street
Deliverables
• 20–30 second MP4 in Full-HD or higher
• Native project file with all textures, caches and simulations intact
• One still image illustrating the colour legend
• Brief notes on any plug-ins or settings used

Acceptance criteria
• Water behaviour and ultrasound pulse are clearly legible in real time
• Colour mapping matches the specified blue-to-red scale without banding
• At least two pipe-wall defects and scale deposits become evident as the pulse passes
• Overall look remains firmly realistic when viewed from the intended top-down angle

No audio or on-screen text is needed; I will add those later.
