Realistic Combat Character Animation

Job ID: 40271752

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m developing an NPC and need a set of high-quality, realistic animations for a humanoid entitiy. The focus is strictly on fighting and combat moves—no idle loops or traversal clips this time—so every keyframe has to sell weight, timing, and impact.

You’re free to work in Maya, Blender, MotionBuilder or any other industry-standard package, as long as the final files reach me in clean FBX format ready for import into Unreal Engine, Unity or an engine/3d program of my choice. Please keep the rig hierarchy intact and names unchanged. Provided will be a FBX file that houses the character and our reference pose so you have a basis to work from. I'll include some animations to give you an idea of mannerisms, movement, and weight. You will be animating the CLAW/BEAST arm, and some combination with the greatsword in the right hand.

Deliverables (all at 30 fps, 1:1 scale)
• Core combat set: 5 unique attacks, phase transition [healthy arm -> beastial arm]
• Root-motion is a must if needed, an hkx_Rootbone is provided in the file, use that for root motion adherence
• Exported FBX files plus the editable scene files

Acceptance criteria
• Motion feels grounded and physically plausible—no floaty limbs or foot-slide.
• Loops are seamless; transitions align on the same pose and frame count.

If this matches your expertise, let me see one or two links to past realistic combat work and tell me how fast you can turn around the first draft once you have the rig.
