Photorealistic Jerry Curl & Gi Revamp
Budget: $10 – $450 USD
I’m handing over a Blender character file (plus a reference-packed ZIP) that needs three very specific upgrades:
1. Hair
The current style must be rebuilt into a true jerry curl—tight, well-defined curls with natural texture and believable shine that hold up in close-ups. Hair realism is the single most critical element, so please push strand variation, subsurface tint and subtle frizz until it reads as a studio photo, not a game asset.
2. Karate Gi Stitching
All seams on the uniform should display an authentic stitch pattern. I want rows that follow real tailoring logic rather than a flat normal map; depth, irregularity and thread rollover should read clearly under neutral lighting.
3. Belt Fit
Re-shape or re-simulate the obj so it cinches the waist convincingly, eliminating the current floating gap while keeping correct knot folds.
Deliverables
• Updated .blend with non-destructive modifiers and organized collections
• 4K texture set (color, roughness, normal, displacement if used) for hair and gi stitches
• One turntable render plus a pair of 2K stills (front & three-quarter) that match my reference angles
Acceptance is based on:
• Hair passing a 100% crop inspection without visible tiling or card edges
• Stitch pattern aligning perfectly along all seams, no stretching
• Belt sitting flush against the body in both posed and T-pose states
Everything else in the model stays untouched. If you rely on add-ons or simulations, please note versions so I can replicate the scene. The files are ready to download.
Best,
MKX
