Low-Poly Chameleon Tongue Animation

Job ID: 40020842

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I’m building an endless-runner and I need a simple, low-poly chameleon to stand along the track as an animated obstacle. The model itself can stay very light on geometry and textures; what matters is that the rig allows the head to track forward and the tongue to shoot straight toward the player and retract again on loop.

Scope
• Create a brand-new, low-detail chameleon in Blender or Godot scene.
• Rig the body quickly—basic spine, head, and four legs are enough—but give special attention to a stretchy IK chain or bone for the tongue so I can key an extend / hold / retract cycle.
• Supply one sample animation clip (roughly 1–1.5 seconds) that shows the tongue fully extend toward camera, pause a beat, then pull back. The loop must play seamlessly.
• Keep materials simple: flat colors or a single diffuse texture are fine; no high-res maps needed.

Acceptance
When I open the file in Blender 4.x or a scene in Godot Engine
1. A chameleon under 2k triangles.
2. Clean, named armature bones with a “Tongue” control that scales or slides forward without distorting the mesh.
3. One action in the NLA or Action Editor labeled “Tongue_Loop” that cycles smoothly.

That’s it—once those points check out I can handle export to my engine myself.
