High-Detail LAPD Riot Helmet

Job ID: 40408145

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m looking for a Blender artist who can build a highly detailed 3D model of an LAPD riot helmet for a Grand Theft Auto V mod. I’ll supply a full set of real-life reference photos, so accuracy in shape, proportions and surface features is critical—from the curved visor and hinge hardware down to the ventilation rivets and rear neck guard.

Because the asset will be used in-game, it has to strike a balance between authentic detail and efficient topology. Clean geometry, logical object naming and UVs that make later tweaks painless are all important. If you have suggestions on optimal poly counts for GTA V, feel free to share them before you begin.

Deliverables
• Native .blend file with all modifiers unapplied and collections organized
• Exported game-ready file (.fbx or .obj) that imports cleanly into GTA V tools
• Separate, non-merged visor object so I can animate it later
• Simple read-me noting scale, units and any special shader setups

Once I confirm the model matches the supplied references, I’ll release payment. Let me know your estimated turnaround time and any previous helmet or hard-surface work you’d like me to see.
