Cartoon Human 3D Character Model
Budget: £10 – £20 GBP
I’m producing a short animation and need a single, stylized human character brought to life in a bright, cartoonish style. You’ll take my concept art (or rough mood-boards, if you prefer) and create a clean, animation-ready 3D asset.
The character must look expressive and appealing on screen while remaining lightweight enough for quick render iterations. Good edge flow, well-laid UVs, and tidy naming conventions are essential because I’ll be passing the file between Maya and Blender during production. If you normally sculpt in ZBrush, Model in Maya/Blender, texture in Substance 3D or similar tools, that works perfectly for my pipeline.
Deliverables I expect:
• Final character model in .blend or .fbx format, subdivision-friendly topology
• Fully rigged skeleton with intuitive controllers, weight-painted and tested for basic motions (walk, run, simple facial expressions)
• 4K PBR texture sets (diffuse/albedo, roughness, metallic, normal, AO) neatly packed and labeled
• A quick playblast or turntable showing the rig in action so I can confirm deformations
I’ll share reference images and turnaround sketches once we start; if you spot any technical concerns, just flag them early so we can keep the revisions minimal. Looking forward to seeing your portfolio of cartoon characters with solid rigs and clean deformation.
