Blender 3D Designer for Energy Devices

Job ID: 40095715

Budget: $2 – $8 USD

Title: Long-term Blender 3D Product Visualisation Partner (Multiple Product Families)

We’re building a complete portfolio of energy devices and need a Blender-based 3D product designer to deliver consistent, premium (Apple-level) visuals across many product families.

You will work inside our shared company Blender setup (shared scene standards, cameras, lighting, material library).

Products (current scope)

SYNQ: P1 meter, DIN-rail smart meter

OZZY: 16A smart switch, 25A box, 32A box

EMON: 15” TFT screen display

Inverters: 22 size variants (same design language; size + logo changes)

FLUXX: 23 home battery models

XOOM: EV chargers (2 sizes)

NENDO: heat pumps (2 models)

OGO: heat-pump boilers (2 models)

FEU: infrared heaters (3 sizes)

What we provide

Per product you receive a very detailed brief: moodboard, reference photos, sketches, AI concept renders, competitor examples, intended materials/colors, size guidance, and design-language rules, .stp files from some of the prroducts.

Deliverables (per product)

Blender source (.blend): clean scene setup + materials

Renders: front, side, and 3/4 angle (consistent camera + lighting across the whole family)

Thin line drawings: from the same views (clean technical/outline style)

Export pack:

PNG (transparent background)

Optional: OBJ / FBX / glTF (if needed later for web/AR)

Quality / output specs (Apple-level)

Clean geometry (no shading artefacts), correct proportions, believable materials

Print-ready hero renders + web-ready variants

Consistent look across families (lighting, reflections, background system)

Collaboration & payment

This is long-term (more products are coming). We prefer hourly payment, with a fixed target budget per product category (small device / medium enclosure / large battery / inverter family, etc.).

What to include in your proposal

Hourly rate + weekly availability

Portfolio links (product visualisation / industrial design)

Your workflow: modelling → materials → lighting → rendering → line drawings

2–3 most relevant samples + rough time estimate for:

one “small device”

one “large battery”

Blender output & quality requirements

Rendering: Cycles preferred (photorealistic, studio lighting, clean reflections)

Print/poster: 300 DPI equivalent; typically 6000–10,000 px on the long edge + lossless PNG/TIFF as required

Web: 2000–4000 px long edge (plus smaller exports)

Social: 1080×1350, 1080×1080, 1920×1080 variants

Line drawings: generated from the same camera views (Freestyle/line render or vector export), clean and minimal

Expect consistent cameras, lighting rig, and material library across all products.
