Blender Building Texture Swap Training
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I already have a complete city scene set up in Blender—materials, lighting, cameras, everything—and simply need the images that sit on the building façades replaced with new ones. Alongside the edits, I want to understand the exact workflow so I can repeat the process on my own projects later.
The job is two-fold:
1. Open my .blend, replace the specified texture images on the buildings, adjust UVs or material nodes if needed, then send the updated file back.
2. Walk me through the steps you took—whether over a screenshared call, a concise screen-capture video, or a clearly illustrated write-up. I’m flexible on the teaching format as long as the instructions are clear and reproducible.
Key details you’ll cover should include:
• locating and swapping textures inside the Shader Editor and Image Editor
• updating UV maps if the new pictures differ in size or aspect ratio
• packing external images so the file stays portable
• best practices for naming and organizing textures for future edits
Deliverables
• the corrected .blend with all new façade images applied and functioning
• the teaching resource (video link, call recording, or written guide) that lets me follow the same procedure unaided
If you’re comfortable with Blender’s material system, texture baking, and concise tutorial creation, this should be a quick, focused engagement. Looking forward to seeing how you streamline the process for me.
