Abstract Object-Based 3D Animation

Job ID: 40475654

Budget: $14 – $100 NZD

I need a short 3D animation that embraces a clean, abstract style. The entire piece should revolve around stylised objects—no characters, no realistic environments—so form, colour and motion must do the storytelling. Think flowing shapes, clever transitions and a modern, minimalist palette that feels fresh and visually engaging.

Scope
• Length: roughly 20–30 seconds (open to advice if that timing can be used more effectively).
• Style: strictly abstract, with smooth, eye-catching movement and imaginative camera work.
• Assets: objects only; you will design and animate them from scratch or adapt existing libraries if they suit the concept.

Preferred workflow
Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya or another industry-standard 3D package are all fine—just keep the final output clean and the project files organised so I can revisit them later if tweaks are needed.

Deliverables
• Final video in 1920×1080 (and 4K if easily up-scalable) in MP4/H.264.
• Project file(s) with all textures and assets neatly packed.
• A short text log outlining key steps, plugins or scripts used.

Acceptance criteria
1. Motion is fluid with no visible glitches, clipping or lighting artefacts.
2. Colour palette remains consistent throughout.
3. File delivers without missing textures or dependencies and plays back smoothly on a standard media player.

If you have a strong reel of object-centric, abstract work, please share it so I can see how your visual language aligns with this concept.
