Create Sample project - Record Mic and Speaker audio to single file.
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We need a freelancer that has experience with recording audio from Mic and Speaker in a web browser app.
We want you to create a proof of concept / sample project that demonstrates how to record both the Speaker and Mic at the same time into a single file from a browser app.
We use VS2019 and Blazor WASM. That is our preference for you to create the sample app. However we are happy for it to be in .net Core 5 with JS application is OK too.
Here some example steps that you must complete in the app.
1. Connect a (Bluetooth) Headset and Mic to the PC
2. Open the "recorder" web app in Chrome
3. Select the Speaker source (combo box, single selection)
4. Select the Mic source (combo box, single selection)
5. Click a button "Record". The button changes to “Stop” when recording has started.
6. Record both the audio that the user speaks into the Mic, and the audio the user hears from the speakers, simultaneously. (as per selection in the combo boxes)
7. When the user presses Stop, the audio file to be in OGG or MP3 format is saved or the user is prompted with a file dialog where to save the file.
8. The user can play the file back in any app eg Audacity, windows media player, and hear both the Mic and Speaker audio they recorded clearly.
There should also be;
• a Slider to adjust the Mic gain
• a Slider to adjust the Speaker audio volume
• 2 mute buttons; one beside the Speaker combo and one beside the Mic combo. Pressing those will mute the relevant audio.
We are aware of the Youtube tutorials setting the Listen checkbox etc, however that duplicates the audio and is not a good experience and we do not want that.
Please provide details of your experience with this type of project, only so we can asses your suitability for this project.
