Basic description of the initial situation in agricultural biogas plants
- Case study for a 500 kW base load operated biogas plant for heat and power generation
1 Student will work on the technical aspects, e.g.
- substrates used for operation (mixture of energy plants and animal manure)
- required components of the plant and dimensioning including investment cost for such a plant
required in 2004
- Energy and material flow balances
1 student will work on the economic aspects considering 2 cases
- case 1: biogas plant started operation 2004 (based on EEG 2004 regulations)
