I need an experienced biochemist to help me create a brand-new, small-scale purification workflow for monoclonal IgG isolated directly from human plasma or serum. The objective is not to follow a routine protocol but to design, test, and document a method that improves yield, purity, or turnaround time over existing approaches.

What I bring:
• Access to screened human plasma/serum samples and basic downstream analytics (SDS-PAGE, ELISA, UV-Vis).
• Laboratory space equipped for column chromatography and standard buffer preparation.

What I count on you for:
• Critical review of current monoclonal IgG purification literature and identification of process gaps.
• Step-by-step experimental design tailored to my lab’s equipment, including detailed buffer compositions and column specifications.
• Remote or on-site (if feasible) guidance during two pilot runs, troubleshooting in real time.
• Data interpretation and a concise final report comparing the new method against conventional Protein A/G or ion-exchange workflows, highlighting performance metrics and scalability potential.

Acceptance criteria
1. ≥90 % purity by SDS-PAGE with consistent band intensity across duplicates.
2. ≥70 % recovery of target IgG from starting material.
3. Clear, reproducible protocol document (reagents, timings, column parameters, QC checkpoints).

If you hold a PhD (or equivalent experience) in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Immunology, or a related discipline and have demonstrated hands-on success purifying IgG from human sources, I would value your expertise on this exploratory project.
