We are a healthcare-focused deep-tech startup preparing our application for the **BIRAC Biotechnology Ignition Grant (BIG)**. We are seeking an experienced freelancer/consultant with **prior hands-on experience in BIRAC BIG or other BIRAC/DBT grant applications** to support us in drafting and refining a **submission-ready proposal**.
The freelancer will work closely with the founder to structure the application in line with **BIRAC evaluation criteria**, ensuring scientific accuracy, feasibility, regulatory alignment, and strong commercialization logic.

## **Scope of Work**
1. **Innovation & Problem Understanding**
* Understand the core innovation, unmet healthcare need, and solution approach
* Align the innovation with BIRAC BIG objectives
2. **Technical & Scientific Content Development**
* Draft and refine:
* Problem statement
* Technology description
* Innovation and novelty
* Proof of concept and validation plan
* Technical development milestones
* Use BIRAC-appropriate and regulatory-safe language
3. **Market & Commercialization Strategy**
* Define target users and application areas
* Market sizing and adoption logic (India-focused)
* Commercialization and scale-up strategy
4. **Regulatory, Risk & IP Alignment**
* Outline regulatory pathway relevant to the product
* Identify technical, regulatory, and market risks with mitigation plans
* Position IP strategy (existing or planned)
5. **Budget & Milestone Justification**
* Structure budget under BIRAC-approved heads
* Map expenses to technical milestones and outcomes
6. **Final Review & Submission Readiness**
* Ensure alignment with BIRAC review parameters
* Improve clarity, conciseness, and impact
* Support up to two revision rounds
