Biostatistic Review of JACC RCT
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a recently published randomized clinical trial from JACC and I need a seasoned biostatistician to walk me through it right away. My main focus is the results section: I want to understand exactly what the reported effect sizes, confidence intervals, and p-values tell us about clinical relevance. Along the way, please also clarify how the randomization process was handled so I can judge its adequacy and any potential bias.
You should be fluent in the common analytical approaches used in cardiovascular trials—time-to-event modelling, mixed models, subgroup analyses—and comfortable translating them into language that a non-statistician can grasp. If you can point out subtle issues such as multiplicity adjustments or assumptions behind each test, that’s a plus.
Because I’m on a tight timeline, I’d like to schedule an immediate call or receive a concise written report that breaks down:
• A plain-English explanation of the key results and how they support (or fail to support) the authors’ conclusions
• A brief assessment of the randomization scheme and any implications for internal validity
• Any red flags or caveats a clinician should keep in mind when applying these findings
Please include examples of similar RCT reviews you’ve completed so I can quickly gauge fit. I’m ready to move forward as soon as I find the right expert.
