patch to detect hormones in sweat -- 2
Budget: £750 – £1,500 GBP
Design and prototype a thin, comfortable skin patch that:
Detects sweat onset + moisture level (hydration/sweat rate proxy), and
Measures a set of sweat biomarkers, including at least one hormone marker (e.g., cortisol) plus key biochemical markers (electrolytes, metabolites) as well as pH.
Output should be quantified sensor signals, a calibrated estimate (where feasible), and a phone/PC-readable data stream.
This is a research/wellness prototype, not a diagnostic medical device. Deliverables should be framed accordingly.
