New Medical Equipment Calibration

Job ID: 40039657

Budget: ₹2,500 – ₹0 INR

I need a biomedical service engineer to carry out the first-time calibration and acceptance testing on a fresh batch of devices that has just arrived at our facility. The inventory spans three groups—diagnostic imaging systems, core laboratory instruments, and patient monitoring stations—all straight from the manufacturer, so nothing is damaged or in need of repair; they simply require the fine-tuning and certification that brings them into clinical use.

Because the shipment includes a mix of makes and models, familiarity with multi-vendor environments is essential. You should be comfortable using standard tools such as Fluke or Rigel safety analyzers, multimeters, phantoms for imaging verification, and any software utilities needed to confirm DICOM or data-logging accuracy.

I will provide access to each device, relevant service manuals, and a quiet testing area. You will bring your calibrated test equipment, perform the measurements in line with ISO 13485 / IEC 60601 (or equivalent) guidelines, and leave each unit clearly labeled and fully documented.

Deliverables
• Traceable calibration certificates for every device
• Full electronic test reports (PDF) summarizing procedures, readings, and pass/fail status
• Calibration labels applied to each unit with date, due date, and signature
• A concise recommendations sheet if further adjustments are advisable

Acceptance criteria
All instruments must meet manufacturer tolerances, certificates must reference traceable standards (NIST or equivalent), and documentation must be handed over within 48 hours of completing on-site work.
