QA Testing Freelancer Needed – Biology-Focused App
We’re looking for a detail-oriented freelancer to assist with Quality Assurance (QA) testing for a biology-focused web application. The testing involves verifying app functionality using a testing instruction manual that is provided and documenting results.
Responsibilities:
Follow a provided testing document to perform ~60 distinct tests on the app.
Repeat each test 2–3 times across different input options or scenarios.
Record and report any bugs, errors, or inconsistencies encountered during testing.
Submit clean, well-organized notes for each test (template will be provided).
Record a short screen-capture video of yourself completing the first few tests, to confirm your understanding and approach, or we can set up a zoom call to go over it.
Requirements:
Ability to follow detailed instructions precisely.
Comfortable testing and navigating through a web-based app.
Background in basic biology – you’ll be working with biological sequences and need understanding of the context.
Reliable and responsive communication throughout the project.
