GEM Portal Tender Bidding Tool
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
I need a lightweight web application that connects to the Indian GeM portal so my team can quickly spot and pursue relevant government contracts. The core requirement is a robust search-and-filter engine that lets us slice opportunities by keyword, category, location, value and closing date, then display them in an easy dashboard.
Role-based access is essential. I want to define multiple custom permission sets (e.g., Admin, Bid Manager, Analyst, Viewer) so each user only sees the functions and data that match their responsibilities. The interface should feel familiar—single sign-on if possible, clean tables, quick export to Excel/PDF—and run smoothly on any modern browser.
Deliverables
• Responsive web app (PHP/Laravel, Python/Django or a comparable stack) connected to GeM data sources
• Advanced tender search & filter with saveable queries and instant refresh
• Customisable user-role matrix with CRUD controls from an Admin panel
• Basic audit log tracking user actions (login, search, downloads)
• Installation guide and short video walkthrough for my in-house IT team
Acceptance Criteria
– Searches return live GeM results in <3 seconds on a 50 Mbps line
– Saved filters persist after logout and work for every authorised role
– Adding / editing a role updates permissions without a server restart
– Code passes security scan (OWASP Top Ten baseline)
Source code, a README and deployment notes wrap up the project. If you prefer a different stack, mention it—speed and maintainability matter more than the specific language.
